In case that a HDD has bad sectors and those sectors might corrupt time information in recorded data with a low possibility. This makes some recorded data invisible on Timetable.
To fix this, pelease execute “Reconsturct” feature in IDIS Solution Suite Setup. The feature is to newly build time information table out of recorded data. The task of reconstructing time information will run in the background.

The recommended server specification is as follows. CPU : Intel Core i&-4790K or higher RAM : 16GB RAM , But, if the number of ANPR engine is more than 2, 32GB RAM is recommended. |

To connect to the ISS Expert, uPnP setting in the NVR and manual Port Forwarding to the router are required. However, if you set only those settings, ISS(IDIS Solution Suite) Expert will give a private IP address of the NVR to ISS client over WAN network, and you will not be able to connect the NVR with the private IP address.
In this case, FEN service is the solution for the problem.
Register a NVR to FEN Server, FEN server will pass the both of IP addresses of NVR such as public and private to the client, it will make the client access the NVR correctly.
Then the Network configuration diagram looks like this.

ISS has its own DB files instead of DBMS files. So, ISS DB cannot be directly accessed by SQL commands because the DB files are encrypted and GDK, an IDIS Open Source Software, should be used to access the ISS DB.

IDIS Solution Suite has a utility to export log and setup files. The path below is to get to the utility, Problem Reporter. - File Start > Program > IDIS Solution Suite > Utility > Problem Reporter
Set a duration of time when a problem is thought to be occurred. Click "Okay" to save logs and setup files in a Zip file with a name like "crashdump_20170613_103808"
Or you can even set the utility to extract the files periodically for a better maintenance.
Once you get a file from Problem Reporter, please report an issue to distributor from which you bought IDIS products or IDIS Technical Support team(techsupport@idisglobal.com)

Identifiers, numbers in square brackets in the picture below. are only available in IDIS Solution Suite Video Wall Agent and used for an IDIS Network Keyboard to select a device to control. The identifiers can increase as many as the number of devices that ISS Administration service can register because there is no limitation on the number of identifier.
![]() In addition, Identifiers appears only in Video Wall Agent, not in IDIS Center or IDIS Solution Suite Client, and one IDIS Solution Suite Administration service can register 1024 devices.

When there is a software distributed by Apple running in a PC. Auto Scan of IDIS Solution Suite uses mDNSResponder service distributed by Apple. Software made by Apple also uses mDNSResponder. So, sometimes the Apple software conflict with Auto Scan of IDIS Solution Suite and IDIS Solution Suite cannot scan cameras.
Please delete Apple software if it is installed in a PC where IDIS Solution Suite is installed for better device scanning. Or, keep a PC or PCs to be utilized only for IDIS Solution Suite.

We provide you with a temporary password that you can login your IDIS Solution Suite to reset the password. Before giving you a temporary password, you must send us the Secret Key of your IDIS Solution Suite first.
The steps to get Secret Key are as below.
1) Run Secret Key in Utility of IDIS Solution Suite. 2) Click "Create Secret Key".
3) Save "EncryptedKey.dat" file.
4) Send the file to the distributor from who you purchased the ISS.
5) The distributor passes the encrypted key to IDIS technical support team, and you will get a temporary password soon. |
